Editorial Policy

Our species and breed information is written to be accurate and is reviewed for clarity and correctness. Where the natural world is uncertain or still debated, we try to say so rather than overstate.

Photography is chosen to show animals respectfully and truthfully. We correct errors promptly; if you spot one, please let us know.
